The Camden
Resource Recovery Facility is operated under contract with the Pollution Control Financing Authority of Camden County
by its owner, Camden County Energy Recovery Associates, L.P., a wholly owned
subsidiary of Foster Wheeler Corp (FWC). The CRRF is permitted by the N.J. Dept. of Environmental Protection and uses mass burn technology to convert over
300,000 tons per year of solid waste into enough electricity to supply the
needs of approximately 25,000 homes.
